🎯 Job Overview for Investment Banking Analyst
We are hiring a motivated and detail-driven Investment Banking Analyst or Associate to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Syndicate team based in New York. This role sits at the center of investment banking, sales & trading, and investor engagement — offering exposure to high-profile deals and senior stakeholders.
💼 Key Responsibilities for Investment Banking Analyst
- Execute equity and equity-linked offerings including IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, and convertibles
- Analyze investor sentiment and track live order books
- Liaise with institutional sales teams to provide real-time market intelligence
- Prepare pricing memos, investor profiles, market updates, and internal commentary
- Organize roadshows and testing-the-waters (TTW) meetings
- Maintain internal analytics on investor feedback and market trends
- Collaborate across departments (legal, operations, compliance) to ensure flawless execution
- Contribute to internal improvements, recruiting, and training efforts
✅ Required Qualifications for Investment Banking Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1–4 years of experience in ECM, investment banking, or institutional sales/trading
- In-depth knowledge of equity markets, capital raising, and deal dynamics
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg, Dealogic, and Ipreo knowledge is a plus
- FINRA Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

- Base Salary: $110,000 – $225,000 annually
